Biography

Guopeng Liang was born in 1985 in Shenzhen, China. He has completed his bachelor’s degree in South China University of Technology in 2007 and was honored Excellent Graduate of the Year. He is now studying for an MA in Industrial Design at Tongji University in Shanghai and will graduate in April 2010.

At the age of 9, Guopeng got his first computer as a gift from his parents. It was then when he started to explore into the digital world, which set up the foundation for his future career and life. With immense curiosity and interest in what is new and cool, Guopeng have once been a computer hardware & software maniac, a self-taught programmer and designer of web and animation. Design became his favorite interest, which always give him some sense of achievement.

Guopeng is a 100% perfectionist, who perceives detail and spends time into it. Doing anything for himself could probably be a marathon of nightmare in the others’ eyes, but he is just enjoying it.

  • Involved in the UX design of several web-based analysis softwares. Completed user-centered interaction flow and data visualization design. Designed new graphic interface as well as some icons.

  • Holistic user experience design and front-end integration, including logo, visual design, CSS and JavaScript coding. The website will be beta launched in late April 2010.
